University, What a way to waste two years.

I've wanted to talk about it all for a while. So, Many people have asked me why I left and some people have even said I will be worse off. Time will tell but right now I've felt the best I ever have! I don't think university was ever for me. However, I was excited when I started. I thought it's a change and I expected so much. To be taught, the vessel they call a brain filled.. where I could get lots of hand on practical experience. Taught by lecturers who were passionate, loved their job and cared about the students.

The experience wasn't all bad but one or two lecturers stood out as being poor. Reading from powerpoints and working from course-notes into workbooks wasn't what I had in mind. Maybe I was a fool?! Paying over £3000+ in tuition fees though I expected better.

Brookes Bus morning woes!

I really wish Oxford Bus Company made the morning bus service only for brookes students... they end up like school buses in the morning with annoying school children. I must get a earlier or later bus I think because that horrible old bus is in service at that time it only comes out when it's busy.

Can't wait for xmas to come though.... need a breakkkkkk!

Holiday post

I have been on Holiday a few weeks now. The highlight of which was Christmas and New year.

A lot has happened. I suppose. I finished my first semester at university and recent public affairs have amused me

My first semester at university went well I guess.. just got to wait for the results. The coursework I have to do over the holidays is in progress but going slowly. I keep getting distracted (by posting on this blog for example!). I can't wait for semester two. So just counting down the days till I am back in Oxford!

Earlier on I was checking out the new Ferrari F1 car. To be honest the new F1 rules have made the cars look ugly!

I plan to launch Apple Elf webhosting over the summer!

As I write this I am thinking how good it feels to be free again for a bit. I have coursework to do over the holidays but its begun. Tonight is my last night in Oxford before I leave to return home

I'm looking forward to returning.. however I don't think I will be able to get out of this clubbing lifestyle
Looking forward to having some proper food and meeting family.

Btw, If anyone has any literature about car fuel tanks and car fuel systems please contact me

20th Birthday and Exams!!

Had a great 20th Birthday. Spent most of it in my room on campus (and nipping downstairs to do some laundry). However the nice peeps of J and H block (top floor) bought a tasty chocolate fudge cake for my celebrations. Thanks guys

Well... its exam time too now. I don't want to spend too long speaking about them because I wanna focus on them but all I can say is. I can't wait to go back to LONDON!!!!

IPod is here and so am I!

Well, I'm still around. Trying to make a bit of cash before uni as I have nothing saved up and will rely on parents. Will need to ask my manager nicely for more shifts before I leave. On another note I really want to leave work soon. It's become hectic and a drag, I am not enjoying it. Counting down the weeks/days. No doubt I will regret leaving so early for a bit but I am sure I will get over that.

Of course there will be things I miss from work.

Pictures of heap loads of washing up removed for the time being

University wise. I got access to my PIP (Personal Information Portal) recently and joined the student union. I still need to wait for my results and then I will apply for accommodation.

Soooooo still lots for me to do this summer. I haven't been karting yet. I need to ring up and let friends know.

All my savings for any holiday have gone into university.. it's not like I had saved much anyway.

At the time of posting this I was listening to Rob Thomas - Lonely No More.
